Itinerary
DAY 01
Arrive Kathmandu
On arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be met by your Indus Bound Representative and transferred to your hotel, where you’ll be staying for two nights. Spend the remainder of the day recovering from your journey, and perhaps a stroll around the local neighborhood later.
DAY 02
In Kathmandu
After breakfast, visit Swayambhunath, the iconic Monkey Temple, followed by Boudhanath, Nepal’s largest stupa. Continue to sacred Pashupatinath Temple, then explore the historic Patan Darbar Square.
DAY 03
Drive to Bandipur
Drive to Bandipur (3–4 hours). On arrival, enjoy a stroll around the town, perhaps venturing further afield for a sunset walk.
DAY 04
In Bandipur
Rise early for a 30-minute walk to Gurungche Daada and Thani Mai shrine, where spectacular sunrise views unfold across mist-covered valleys and mountains. Afterwards, explore Bandipur’s Khadga and Mahalaxmi temples, followed by its atmospheric stone-paved bazaar and elegant Newari mansions.
DAY 05
Drive to Pokhara
Drive to Pokhara (3–4 hours), in the foothills of the Annapurna range, for a two-nights stay.
DAY 06
In Pokhara
Early morning, enjoy the sunrise from Sarangkot. Later visit Devis fall and Gupteshwor Cave. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride (01 Hr) in Phewa River
DAY 07
Drive to Chitwan
After breakfast, you will be driven to Chitwan National Park (5–6 hours) for a two nights stay.
DAY 08
In Chitwan
A full day of jungle activities including a jeep safari, canoe ride and nature walk. Also visit the local Tharu villages and a co-operative that uses elephant dung to make paper.
DAY 09
Drive to Kathmandu
In the morning, there is the option of a cycle ride around Sauraha or another safari in the park. Later drive to Kathmandu (5-6 hours). Evening is at leisure or explore the Thamel market.
DAY 10
Departure
At time, take your flight back home, or continue your onward journey with us.
