The RAAS Chhatrasagar

Perched on the robust walls of the expansive Chhatra Sagar reservoir, built in the 19th century to capture monsoon rains, this camp has been crafted to evoke the spirit of the opulent tented Rajput expeditions of yesteryear, infused with contemporary elements. The camp provides a variety of activities (at an additional cost), including jeep excursions to farms and villages or birdwatching tours to observe some of the 200 species that frequently visit the reservoir. 

Guests can unwind and indulge in the exquisite RAAS spa, which offers a selection of treatments, or simply relax in the stunning infinity heated outdoor swimming pool. Dining is a distinguished experience in the dining room that overlooks the lake. Concluding the day with a sundowner by the campfire beneath a starry sky or at the water’s edge creates a truly enchanting atmosphere. 

Extensively renovated in 2019, RAAS Chhatrasagar features 16 elegantly designed Luxury Tents. These substantial and spacious tents, complete with skylights and en suite facilities, are also fitted with air conditioning and heating. Located on the reservoir walls or atop a hillock, each tent offers a private veranda with views of the lake. Additionally, there are a few Family Tents available to accommodate larger groups.
