Nestled in the rural landscape of Rajasthan, approximately an hour from the historic ‘Golden City’ of Jaisalmer, The Serai evokes the grandeur of the royal caravans from the Rajput period, serving as a luxurious sanctuary amidst the desert dunes. 

The estate features 21 expansive canvas tents elevated on honey-hued sandstone platforms, each equipped with a terrace lounge, abundant natural light, and elegant interiors. Six of these tents boast private walled gardens and plunge pools, while the Royal Tented Suite offers a spa, an outdoor pool, and separate dining and lounging tents. The Serai is ideally situated for excursions to Jaisalmer, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its exquisite historic architecture, which reflects its significance as a crucial stop for traders' caravans en route to Persia, Egypt, Africa, and the West. 

Guests can also embark on traditional camel safaris through the desert, visit lesser-known temples, and engage with local villages to gain insight into life in this challenging environment. After a day of exploration, guests can unwind at the spa or in the tranquil pool, followed by evenings spent beneath the expansive desert sky, illuminated by stars, the glow of a fire, and a lavish dinner.
