SUJAN Jawai Leopard Camp, Jawai

Nestled in the expansive wilderness between Jodhpur and Udaipur, JAWAI is a secluded safari camp surrounded by arid scrubland and majestic granite hills, which are home to numerous leopards and the nomadic Rabari herdsmen. The camp features nine opulent canvas tents, including a family suite, each designed to be airy and spacious, complete with en suite bathrooms and private verandas. A writing desk and seating area provide unobstructed views of the surrounding wilderness. 

Guests can explore this remote region of Rajasthan through a range of captivating activities, including game drives to observe leopards and other wildlife, birdwatching walks featuring 170 bird species such as flamingos, leisurely strolls with local shepherds, or more strenuous treks. 

Additionally, visitors can tour nearby temples and forts, ride mountain bikes to uncover the landscape, or unwind with yoga sessions in tranquil settings. Conclude your day with sundowners before gathering in the dining tent or around the fire to witness meals being prepared in the live kitchen. 

Private dining arrangements can also be made. In line with a commitment to conserving local cultures and wildlife, meals are prepared using produce from the kitchen garden or fresh ingredients sourced from local farmers.
