Kings Lodge

Set in the heart of a 35 acre forested estate, Kings Lodge is an affordable wildlife lodge and is only minutes away from the entrance to Bandhavgarh National Park. Surrounded by sal forests, this lodge has been thoughtfully designed to offer guests an atmosphere that they are staying in the midst of untamed wilderness and is managed by a dedicated team of naturalists and staff for whom nothing is ever too much. All of the 18 cottages including the 8 cottages that are built on silts sport a rustic décor and draw inspiration from the simple huts that belong to the local community. With mud washed walls and striking furnishings crafted from recycled wood, all rooms open out onto either a veranda or a balcony and offer spectacular views of the surrounding forests. At Kings Lodge international cuisine is served in the main dining hall, whilst for those interested in private dining – bush dinners as well as an outdoor barbecue can be arranged. Other facilities at Kings Lodge include an outdoor swimming pool, a small treatment room for relaxing massages and a library with an impressive collection of books on wildlife.
