Located in the heart of Jaipur, the charming, character-rich Dera Mandawa dates back to the 19th century and was originally the private residence of the Mandawas – an aristocratic Rajput family. Lovingly restored and brought up to date, this gracious two-storey mansion with its tranquil courtyard has been converted into a gorgeous, heritage-style hotel and is today managed by the third generation descendants of Thakur Jait Singh Ji Mandawa. Each of the 11 rooms is individually decorated in traditional style with vibrant colours, period furniture and typical Rajasthani motifs. All rooms are set overlooking the courtyard and whilst the rooms on the ground floor feature a balcony at mezzanine level; the upper floor rooms have outdoor seating areas.

 The small property has beautiful courtyards and gardens to relax in, and many of the home cooked traditional style meals are served under the stars in one of the outdoor spaces.
