Jaswant Thada, a majestic marble cenotaph shrine, which is also a mausoleum for Marwar kings, lies in the royal state of Jodhpur. The memorial was built in 1899 by his son Maharaja Sardar Singh in the honor and memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, and is still used as cremation grounds by the Marwar Royal Family.
