Commonly referred to as the Dutch Palace, the Mattancherry Palace is a Portuguese structure that currently serves as a museum showcasing artifacts associated with the Kings of Kochi. The palace consists of four distinct wings that encircle a central courtyard, which also features a temple. 

The Santa Cruz Basilica, situated in Fort Kochi is a historic Roman Catholic church renowned for its architectural significance and religious importance. Situated in the Jew Town district of Kochi, this synagogue was built in 1567 and is one of the seven synagogues associated with the Malabar Yehudan or Yehudan Mappila.

According to legends, the introduction of Chinese fishing nets in Kerala dates back to ancient times, attributed to a gift from the renowned Chinese ruler, Kublai Khan. These intricate traditional fishing nets are still utilized by fishermen today, making Kerala the only region outside of China where they are employed.

St. Francis Church in Kochi, renowned for its exquisite Portuguese architectural style, is considered unique among all European churches built in India.
