Raghu Kulkarni

Raghu began his career in wildlife travel 15 years ago as Lead Naturalist at a luxury wildlife lodge in Central India. Today, he is an award-winning professional photographer and leads our Indian wildlife travel division.

Over the years, Raghu has designed and guided wildlife expeditions for renowned photographers, biologists and documentary crews across India and the wider subcontinent. His extensive first-hand knowledge of India’s forests, wildlife and natural habitats allows him to go beyond the standard safari experience.

Working closely with our destination specialists, Raghu creates bespoke wildlife and photography journeys tailored to each traveller — from choosing the right parks and lodges to planning the timing, guides and experiences that can make all the difference in the field.
