Things to do in Munnar
Munnar is located on the Western Ghats and is Southern India’s largest tea growing region and is one of the most popular hill stations enjoying a lofty location, at an altitude of just over 1500 metres. The scenery is spectacular with the rolling hills covered in perfectly manicured emerald green tea plantations, where veils of mist cling to the mountain tops. The cool, clean air makes it easy to understand why the British loved Munnar as a summer retreat.
Tea Plantations Walk
spend hours enjoying the lush greenery of the tea gardens spread for miles and miles in and around the picturesque Kanan Devan Hills. You can watch the tea pickers with their bags strapped to their backs. They are so skilled to safely do their work even when they work in very steep hill terrain. We also arrange tea factory visits
