Luxury & Private Mysore Tours 2024/2025

Mysore is the second largest city in Karnataka and is famous for its silk, sandalwood and incense production. The city is also noted for its palaces, in particular the Mysore palace which serves as the residence for the former rulers of the Kingdom of Mysore, The Wodeyars, who ruled from 1399 to 1947.

The Wodeyars were patrons of the arts and made significant contributions to the cultural growth of Mysore and its heritage as a center for arts.

For wonderful panoramic views climb Chamundi Hill, on the outskirts of the city and try not to miss the impressive Maharaja Palace which is especially beautiful on Saturday and Sunday evenings when it is illuminated by hundreds of tiny lights.
